About Tooruu

Technology should take effort away, not add it.

Tooruu is a new technology company. We build digital tools, software and AI-assisted products that help individuals and organisations get meaningful work done more easily.

Why we exist

Too much software makes simple work hard

A lot of everyday work, from keeping track of stock to planning a week of content, is still slower and more confusing than it needs to be. Tools are often built for experts, priced for large companies, or packed with features that get in the way.

We started Tooruu to build the opposite: focused tools that do one job well, are easy to learn, and are fairly priced. We are starting in India, with its huge range of people, languages, devices and businesses, because tools that work well here have a good chance of working well anywhere.

Our approach

How we intend to work

  • Start with the problem

A product begins with a task that is genuinely hard, slow or costly, described by the people who face it.

  • Keep it clear

Plain language, honest limits and interfaces that make the next step obvious.

  • Use AI with care

Where AI removes real effort, we will use it and say so. People stay in control of the result.

  • Earn trust

Fair, visible pricing, careful handling of data, and no claims we cannot back up.

What we want to solve

The kinds of problems we're drawn to

We are an early-stage company and our product portfolio is still being built. These are the areas we intend to explore first.

  • AI and Productivity

Tools that use AI only where it removes real effort, such as drafting, summarising and organising, with people kept in control.

  • Creator Tools

Practical help for people who make content: planning, producing and publishing with fewer steps and less switching between apps.

  • Business Software

Straightforward software for the operations of small and growing businesses, such as inventory, billing and day-to-day records.

  • Commerce Technology

Tools for people who sell online, from understanding marketplace profitability to managing orders and shipping.

Our commitment

Useful and accessible, for more people

A tool is only useful if people can actually use it. We aim to design for different levels of experience, for mobile phones as well as laptops, for slower connections, and for languages beyond English over time.

We will also be straightforward about what each product does and doesn't do, what it costs, and how it handles your information. When we get something wrong, we want to hear about it.

Let's talk

Ideas, questions, partnerships or feedback: we would like to hear from you.
